Angelina Jolie is reportedly horrified over the response her Oscars leg pose has generated and is supposedly blaming her stylist for choosing a dress that forced her to make such an exaggerated stance.

Angelina Jolie wore a lush velvet Atelier Versace gown, Neil Lane jewelry, Salvatore Ferragamo peep toe shoes, and a Jaime Mascaro clutch to the 84th Academy Awards last month.

What was most notable was not Jolie's beauty (which is what typically draws the most attention), but rather the way the 36-year-old posed in her gown on the red carpet. The mother of six modeled for photographers on the red carpet purposefully jutting out her right leg. The sheer determination to show off that bare leg caught the attention of many, who thought Jolie looked vain and awkward.

Her leg quickly became a Twitter trend, with many poking fun at the actress' extreme measures of parading her flesh. In fact, the leg garnered so much attention that it now has its own Twitter account, @AngiesRightLeg, and a meme, Angelina Jolie'ing.

And the biggest star of #Oscars night? Angelina Jolie's right leg! #werq tweeted E! News. Angelina Jolie's right leg took home all the awards at the Oscar's last night, tweeted Matt Spears. Angelina Jolie Really Wants You To See Her Leg wrote The Superficial. Angelina Jolie is an achingly beautiful woman but her pose at the #Oscars was all sorts of RIDICULOUS! tweeted Elena Gorgan.

Now, Angelina Jolie is reportedly blaming her stylist Jen Rade for choosing the gown for her red carpet moment, according to Cover Media via Yahoo! News.

Angelina is horrified at the reaction her Oscars dress received. She pays her stylist Jen a lot of money to pick things that will make her look drop-dead gorgeous, but she felt the dress swallowed her up and she had to stick her leg, or it looked like she was wearing a bin bag, a source told British magazine Closer. Now she's being laughed at when she's worked so hard on her look. She feels like a joke and is worried her reputation may have taken a hit.

Sources said that Jolie was so upset over the joke she became on Oscars night, that she had no desire to attend the after-parties. Ange briefly went to George Clooney's post Academy Awards dinner but left early on as she was still upset, the source added.

She bitterly regrets wearing the dress and is just hoping the next time she's on the red carpet, she makes headlines for the right reasons.

Angelina Jolie's Oscars leg pose certainly caused quite a spectacle. The Descendants writers Nat Faxon and Jim Rash (also known as Dean Pelton) were seen mimicking Angie's pose while accepting their award for Best Adapted Screenplay.

Honestly, as soon as I saw her pose like that, I was like, 'I'm going to do that,' Rash told Entertainment Weekly. I knew Alexander was going to take the reins, so I was like, 'How can I make a moment?' - selfishly, laughed Rash. I almost thought it was a little Dean Pelton, somehow. I was bringing it all together. Because I have stood like that [on Community].

Other celebrities have been spotted Angelina Jolie'ing (whether consciously or subconsciously) like Nina Dobrev and Carrie Underwood.
