Samsung Galaxy S2, which is known as the best android smartphone, has just received the eagerly awaited Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update.

The phone also touts an 8 megapixel LED flash rear-facing camera with 1080p video capture capabilities and an additional 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera for video chatting.

Size: Even with a big battery, Moto Maxx manages to come with a slim and attractive body that has dimension of 130.7 x 68.9 x 9 mm and weighs 145 grams while Galaxy S2 comes in 125.3x66.1x8.5 mm dimension and weighs 116 grams.

Display: Samsung Galaxy S2 sports a 4.3-inch 800x480 pixels Super AMOLED Plus capacitive touch-screen with 217 ppi pixel density. Operating System: While all the smartphone makers are now advising you to leapfrogging ICS and jump straight to Jelly Beans (Android 5.0), the Razr Maxx still runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread. Camera: The Razr Maxx sports an 8 megapixel HD P2P Video camera that comes with 3264x2448 pixels unit autofocus, LED flash rear facing camera with 1080p video capture capabilities. 3G/4G: Galaxy S2 supports download speed of 21 Mbps and upload speed of 5.76 Mbps but does not support LET. Razr Maxx, on the other hand, connects to Verizon's CDMA Rev A and also supports LTE networks.

Battery: Motorola Droid Maxx boasts of a battery that comes with unstoppable power. According to the company, on one full charge, you can host a marathon as in more than 21-hour conference call - the longest talk time of any 4G smartphone and you can listen to music for two and half days. The battery is Li-Ion 3300 mAh.

Galaxy S2, on the other hand, comes with a standard Li-Ion 1650 mAh battery that gives stand-by time of up to 710 hours for 2G and up to 610 hours for the 3G and talk time of up to 18 hours 20 min for 2G and up to 8 hours 40 min for 3G. Motorola wins hands-on in this battery department.

Other Features: Droid Razr Maxx boasts of features like HTML5, Adobe Flash, an a accelerometer, proximity and a compass and a splash resistant, MP3/WAV/WMA/eAAC+ player, MP4/H.263/H.264/WMV player, SNS integration, HDMI port, voice navigation, voice memo/dial, predictive text input, document viewer and a photo viewer/editor.
