“Assassin’s Creed 3,” the third installment in Ubisoft’s historical fiction stealth franchise, finally made its way to store shelves about one week ago. For those dedicated “Assassin’s Creed” gamers that need a bit more than the main story, here’s a mission that will unlock 10 new cheats to make players nearly invincible.

Once all 12 of the main story Memory Sequences have been completed in “Assassin’s Creed 3,” a new side quest called Animus Synching will be unlocked. Players can access this through the map screen when playing online, where it will appear as an additional menu option.

The Animus Synching quest relies on the placement of Pivot markers on the maps, according to Computer and Video Games (CVG). Pivots are special hidden collectibles that are located in various regions throughout the game.

The object is to place these markers on the maps and use them to triangulate the position of new Pivots. Each located Pivot unlocks a new cheat in the main menu, and there are 10 in total to find.

Players can drop Pivot markers at their current location by using the Animus Synching menu, as CVG points out. When at least three markers have been dropped, they’ll unite and form a highlighted green area on the map that contains the next Pivot.

To narrow down the target area, move the Pivot markers closer together or drop additional markers. If this is done enough, the area with the next Pivot will become small enough to explore on foot. A square icon will appear on a player’s mini-map that will indicate where the next Pivot is. After proceeding to that section, collect the marker at that location.

It’s important to frequently check the Animus Synching menu for updates on where the next Pivot will appear. This typically happens every 15 minutes but can accelerate if one or more people on a player’s friends list are also collecting the Pivots.

It’s also worth noting that since each Pivot is manually placed by another player, the location of any given Pivot can change during a search.

Finding all 10 Pivots will unlock every cheat, which can be accessed through the Animus Hack at the bottom of the Options menu.

The full list of cheats is as follows:

Made of Steel- Players become invincible and can’t take any damage.

Infinite Ammunition- Self explanatory; players have infinite ammunition.

Sun and Moon- Set the time to day or night.

Killing Spree- Gain the ability to assassinate enemies while not in stealth mode.

Season Changer- Allows a player to switch between winter and summer at will.

Semi-Automatic- Eliminates reload time for ranged weapons.

Ninja- Gets rid of Guard Detection and Investigation, but combat and restricted areas can still spark detection.

Recruit- Players gain an infinite number of recruit tokens to use Assassin Abilities.

Thunder Kill- Thunder and lighting flashes every time an enemy is killed.

Weather Man- Gives players the option to choose the weather: rain/snow or sunny.

“Assassin’s Creed 3” launched for console players on Oct. 30 and sold 3.5 million copies in its first week alone. This is more than double “Assassin’s Creed: Revelations” pushed out in its first seven days back in 2011. Ubisoft’s success comes just after the company announced a $41.5 million loss in the last six-month financial period, according to Escapist.

PC players in the United States will have to wait until Nov. 20 to get their hands on “Assassin’s Creed 3,” while those in the UK will get the game on Nov. 23.
