There’s a chance DJ Duffey won’t be joining the Season 6 cast of VH1’s “Basketball Wives: LA.” The celebrity DJ joined the group for the current fifth season, but a sneak peek at Sunday’s reunion shows cast member and producer Shaunie O’Neal seemingly firing Duffey.

In the clip, posted on VH1.com, an agitated Duffey is seen telling Shaunie that she’s always quick to fire people from the show. “Absolutely,” Shaunie responds. “Like I’m planning on firing you.” So, does that mean Shaunie gave Duffey the “thank you for your services” aka her walking papers? Fan will have to tune in on Sunday to find out whether Duffey will be returning for Season 6 next year.

During a recent interview with VH1.com Shaunie revealed that she didn’t want Duffey on “Basketball Wives: LA” because she didn’t think she was “qualified” and felt her storyline wouldn’t translate well on screen.

“The vote went against me on this one because they [the other producers] thought it brought a new angle [with] the agent side, and she’s this DJ and that whole lifestyle,” she explained. “I think the fiancé ended up not really wanting to shoot and it just was flat. So her story didn’t quite meet up to the expectations that some of the producers said.”

Shaunie has made it clear on several occasions that she isn’t a fan of Brandi Maxiell’s BFF. Last month, Shaunie told VH1 that she thought Duffey caused problems because she talked “out of turn” too much. “Sometimes she interjects when we kind of don’t need that interjection, which can get her in a little bit of trouble,” she said. “It’s a method to this madness, and I think Duffey is struggling with finding that method.”

Shaunie isn’t only the one who doesn’t seem to care for Duffey. Fans already know that Shaunie’s BFF Tami Roman can’t stand the DJ. Tami and Duffey have been feuding all season and almost got into a fight during a girls trip to Portugal. The reunion promo also showed Tami warning one of her cast members, presumably Duffey. “Don’t buck, because if I knuck then we gonna have a problem,” she said. “We gonna resolve this in the mother---ing ring.”

The “Basketball Wives: LA” Season 5 reunion airs Sunday at 8 p.m. EDT on VH1.
