Even after it was announced on Jan. 7 that Beyonce had given birth to baby Blue Ivy Carter, the rumor mill continued to churn.

Skeptics questioned: Was the pregnancy real? Did Beyonce use a surrogate? How did she deliver the baby? Did she and husband Jay-Z really pay $1.3 million to rent out an entire hospital floor? Is there a sinister meaning behind the name Blue Ivy?

Though Beyonce has attested to the fact that she never lets rumors bother her, her younger sister Solange got hot under the collar Tuesday and finally put her foot down.

The singer and newly-signed model took to her Twitter account to take a stand against all the haters. It has really gotten out of hand. I've been doing my best at keeping my mouth shut....but the ignorance is really sad and upsetting, she tweeted Thursday night.

We are supposed to be super human and watch people we love get slandered, lied on, and ridiculed. It is one of THE hardest things to accept.

In any other workplace...if someone directly tells your mother or sister is a liar and a fake ect...you would naturally express yourself, she added several minutes later.

Finally, she calmed down. However, the pure happiness and joy I've witnessed and experienced helps me to keep my mouth shut.

The gossip surrounding the pregnancy and the birth has certainly been sizable. Beyoncé's pregnancy was covered with a shroud of mystery since she announced she was with child in August. The next month, she stated: It's September 23rd. Right now I'm actually shooting the video for 'Countdown' and I'm six months pregnant!

The most bizarre occurrence happened in October, during an interview on the Australian talk show Sunday Night HD. Beyoncé's stomach seemed to collapse when she sat down. The singer's baby bump folded in on itself, causing many to speculate if she was actually wearing a prosthetic belly. Click here to watch the strange incident. Rumors swirled that the 30-year-old was actually using a surrogate in order to stay in shape for an upcoming tour.

After the baby was born, people continued to question. The choice of the name Blue Ivy was linked to sinister meanings, bridging a satanic and Illuminati connection.

Despite the incessant gossip, the proud couple could not be happier. Beyonce and Jay-Z released a statement saying: Hello Hello Baby Blue! We are happy to announce the arrival of our beautiful daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, born on Saturday, January 7, 2012. Her birth was emotional and extremely peaceful, we are in heaven. She was delivered naturally at a healthy 7 lbs and it was the best experience of both of our lives. Jay-Z's song Glory was released Monday was well, describing his love for Blue and the struggles the couple has faced, including a miscarriage.
