Former “Transparent” costars Bradley Whitford and Amy Landecker are engaged!

Whitford, who has been in a relationship with Landecker since the summer of 2015, revealed that they are set to tie the knot when he referred to the actress as his “fiancée” during an interview with Ryan Seacrest on E!’s “Live From the Red Carpet” at the 2018 Oscars on Sunday.

“I walked out of the room and I said to my fiancée, this is unlike any script I’ve ever read. This could be incredibly brilliant or it could really not work,” Bradley told Seacrest while talking about the Oscar-nominated film “Get Out,” in which he plays the role of Dean Armitage.

A rep for Whitford also confirmed Whitford and Landecker’s engagement to E! News. While it’s unclear when exactly the 58-year-old actor popped the question, Entertainment Tonight reported that Landecker has been sporting a diamond ring in photos since the Screen Actors Guild Awards in January.

Landecker, 48, was photographed wearing the same sparkler when she and Whitford attended the 11th Annual Celebration of the 2018 Female Oscar Nominees at Crustacean in Beverly Hills, California last Friday.

Whitford and Landecker made their red carpet debut as a couple at the Creative Arts Emmys in September 2015. Two months later, the two couldn’t help but gush about their relationship.

“Things with Amy are spectacular. Things are wonderful,” Bradley told People at the Season 2 premiere of “Transparent” in Los Angeles. “I met her last year, but we didn’t start dating for a little while. I work slowly. We never really acted together in this. So, that keeps it simple.”

“I knew Bradley for a year before we dated and I kind of thought that he seemed like a cocky actor boy and I wasn’t really that interested,” Landecker added. “Now I've learned that If I don’t like someone at first, that’s probably a sign that they’re perfect for me because my taste is so bad … so I was like, ‘Oh, see here it is!’ I didn't think and now I'm the happiest I’ve ever been.”

Whitford was previously married to Jane Kaczmarek. They divorced in 2010 and have three children together. Landecker, meanwhile, was previously married to Jackson Lynch. The two share one child.

Landecker stars as Sarah Pfefferman on “Transparent,” while Whitford appeared as Magnus Hirschfeld in Seasons 1 and 2 of the hit Amazon series. The 10-episode Season 5 of “Transparent” is set to be released later this year.
