Britney Spears has been on top of the world with her music career, as well as out of this world! The singer and "X Factor" judge took to Twitter to exchange some pretty hilarious tweets with NASA's rover Curiosity.

On Aug. 5, NASA's rover Curiosty landed on Mars, a planet very familiar to Spears. The singer had "visited" the Red Planet in 2000 for her hit music video "Oops!...I Did It Again." Fans will remember that the video kicks off with a computer technician from Earth communicating with astronauts on Mars.

"Any sign of habitation?" asks the tech. That's when the astronaut happens to stumble across Britney Spears, decked out in a full red leather jumpsuit with a slew of back up dancers (none of which are wearing the proper gear to be on Mars).

This week, Spears reminisced on her former days in Mars by tweeting NASA's rover Curiosity. "So @MarsCuriosity...does Mars look the same as it did in 2000?" she tweeted.

The Curiosity rover responded back to Spears the next day, tweeting: "@BritneySpears Hey Brit Brit. Mars is still looking good. Maybe someday an astronaut will bring me a gift, too. Drill bits crossed ;)"

NASA's rover was referring to a scene in the "Oops!...I Did It Again" video when Spears interacts with the astronaut who happened to bring her the Heart of the Ocean, a fictitious blue diamond that became popular after Kate Winslet wore it in 1997's "Titanic." In the video, Spears asks the astronaut "But I thought the old lady dropped it into the ocean in the end?" The astronaut replies, "Well baby, I went down and got it for you."
