When Cameron Diaz went on the Late Show with David Letterman earlier this week to promote her new film, 'Bad Teacher,' the actress dished about more than just the film. Diaz gave Letterman an exclusive interview on her relationship with baseball player, A-Rod. Diaz told Letterman that she has a normal life and relationship, and goes on regular dates with the Yankee's player.

Diaz also told Letterman about her latest project, 'Gambit,' a film by the Coen Brothers, which is currently filming in London.

Diaz's most recent film, 'Bad Teacher,' starring Jason Segal and Diaz's former boyfriend Justin Timberlake, hits theaters on today. The actress has recently been trotting around the globe promoting the film. She was seen at the Berlin 'Bad Teacher' premiere this week.

Cameron, a background

Diaz was born in San Diego in 1972 and began her career as a model with Elite Model Management. At 21 she co-starred with Jim Carrey in The Mask which set her film career blazing. The Mask was a top grossing film that year (1994) and put Diaz on Hollywood's radar.

However, it wasn't until My Best Friend's Wedding, where she played opposite Julia Roberts, and There's Something About Mary that Diaz began bringing in the big bucks. Diaz began starring in films such as, Being John Malkovich (1999), Charlie's Angels (2000 & 2003, with Drew Barrymore), Gangs of New York (2002), and Shrek (2001 - 2010).

Diaz was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy for There's Something About Mary.

Despite never winning an Academy or Golden Globe Award, Diaz joined Julia Roberts as the second actress in Hollywood to bring in over $20 million per film. Aside from her acting, her celebrity status and sex appeal have brought the actress a lot of attention. She was named #11 on Maxim Magazine's Hot 100 List for 2005, #13 in FHM's 100 Sexiest Women in the World 2005, but dropped to #23 the following year.
