Carmelo Anthony arrives at Madison Square Garden wearing No. 7 for the New York Knicks.
There was speculation that Anthony would wear No. 30 like his idol Bernard King, who starred for the Knicks in the 1980s. There was also talk of Anthony wearing No. 13, Mark Jackson's number.
Anthony wore No. 15 for the Nuggets, but that is a retired Knicks number. Guard Earl The Pearl Monroe and Dick McGuire donned the number.
The Knicks host the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday night.
