Tessa reunited with her mom not because she wanted to make amends, but because she wanted to kill her. Margot soon learned that Tessa has been working with Felix (Marc Crumpton), one of her lieutenants at the Kensington firm. Felix is an expert in firearms, tactical assault and demolitions so Margot immediately realized that Tessa is in grave danger. On top of this, Margot’s maternal instincts kicked in when Tessa refused to tell her where Felix was. She realized that Tessa slept with the much older guy, and Margot’s not happy about it.

But towards the end of the episode, Margot decided to stay loyal to her daughter and almost blamed herself for not being around while she was growing up. She knew that Tessa needed the guidance now that she’s a teenager, and she also needs to get to know her dad. Margot introduced Tessa to Ben, and the two started catching up with each other. All these were happening while Alice (Mireille Enos) looked on. Alice was happy to know that Ben wants to have children, but she did not seem pleased with the fact that he has a child with his ex, Margot.

“The Catch” Season 2 airs Thursdays at 10 p.m. EST on ABC.
