Talk about a memorable proposal! During a taping for the “Dance Moms” Season 5 reunion show in Los Angeles on Tuesday, Lifetime reality star Kira Girard accepted her longtime boyfriend David Newman’s marriage proposal onstage. The 33 year old, who is mom to ALDC dancer Kalani Hilliker, gushed about the proposal on Instagram.

“The best reunion show EVER!!! I’m marrying the man of my dreams!!!!” Kira wrote Tuesday. The post was accompanied by a photo of herself looking visibly emotional as Newman slides a ring onto her finger.

Kira posted a close up shot of her engagement ring on Instagram the following day. “Can’t stop starring at how beautiful this ring is!” reads the caption. “Thank you @weddingdaydiamond for this beauty and @deanwdd for designing it. I’m in AWE!!!”

Newman, a real estate professional, has yet to comment on the engagement on social media. Kalani, 14, and the rest of the “Dance Moms” cast have also been radio silent about the topic online. “Head is pounding,” was all Kalani tweeted on Wednesday.

Kira entered the world of reality television in 2013 starring alongside her then 12-year-old daughter on Season 2 of Abby’s Lifetime spinoff series “Abby’s Ultimate Dance Competition.” Kalani was one of Abby’s favorite contestants on the program, the infamous coach even gifting the young dancer a callback card to bring her back into the competition after being eliminated by her fellow judges. While Kalani only placed fourth on the show, Abby later offered her the chance to join her “Dance Moms” elite junior team for Season 4.

Kira and Kalani left "Dance Moms" following its midseason 4 finale, coincentially enough, because, according to Abby, Kira wanted to spend more time with Newman. Kira revealed to International Business Times in August 2014 that the real reason she parted ways ways with the show was because she was asked to sign a seven-year contract in order to stay on for the rest of Season 4. The reality star also told IBTimes that she left because she wanted to spend more time with her son Jax Hilliker, then 6, home in Mesa, Arizona.

The mother-daughter duo reconnected with Abby in the fall of 2014 and have since gone on to star in “Dance Moms” Season 5. The second half of “Dance Moms” Season 5 premieres Tuesday, June 9, at 9 p.m. EDT on Lifetime.
