No stranger to the stage in New York, Daniel Radcliffe, who just finished his first successful debut on Broadway with How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, made his way over to Saturday Night Live (SNL) as the host on Saturday.

Naturally, Radcliffe poked fun at his own role in the Harry Potter franchise in a skit accompanied by Kristin Wiig, Nasim Pedrad, Taran Killiam, Paul Brittain, Bobby Moynihan and Bill Hader

It is so great to be here hosting 'Saturday Night Live,' Radcliffe said in the opening intro. When I agreed to host 'SNL' one of the biggest questions I had was how much should we do with Harry Potter, taking into account that over the years there have been multiple Harry Potter sketches on the show.

So I said if at all possible, let's not do one. No one wants to see Dumbledore working at Harry Pottery Barn (Dumbledore walks on stage, then walks off in disappointment). And if we can, let's not do Harry Pothead (Harry Pothead walks out, and walks away with a shrug).

Radcliffe also joined Seth Meyers for the Weekend Update, playing Casey Anthony's adopted Yorkie dog.

Kristin Wiig, who recently retired Gilly and Penelope, revived her character Target lady for a sketch with Radcliffe, donning a mullet and ripped shirt and Jason Sudeikis opened the show with a Mitt Romney sketch.

Andy Samberg was virtually missing from the show, aside from one small pre-taped segment in the beginning of the show.

Lana Del Rey performed Video Games and Blue Jean in a performance fans have largely disliked.

I think Lana Del Ray is on drugs, wrote one Twitter user, _telekinesis.
