Darksiders Warmastered Edition

“Darksiders Warmastered Edition,” the remastered version of the original “Darksiders,” is now available on Steam. The Toy Headquarter Inc. game is available as free upgrade for existing “Darksiders” players on Steam and available at 80 percent discount to new users.

All owners of the Steam version will be able to see the new edition as a part of their Steam library upon restarting their Steam client. The game previously priced $19.99 is available for $3.99 on https://www.gog.com.

On a supportive machine, “Darksiders Warmastered Edition” will run in 4K with other video options such as 1080p at 60 frames per second. The new edition comes with improved textures, better rendering and shadows, and new post-processing effects, but the game play will remain same as the original “Darksiders.”

The game tells the story of War, a horseman on the quest to prove that the apocalyptic war between heaven and hell was not his fault.

Players can also buy the Darksiders franchise pack, including “Darksiders 2: Deathinitive Edition,” “Darksiders 2: Deathinitive Edition" soundtrack and “Darksiders Warmastered Edition” for around $9.98, and a nine-game pack, including “Darksiders 2: Deathinitive Edition,” “Darksiders Warmastered Edition,” “Frontlines: Fuel of War,” “Full Spectrum Warrior,” “Full Spectrum Warrior: Ten Hammers,” “MX vs ATV Reflex,” “Red Faction Guerilla Steam Edition,” “Red Faction: Armageddon” and “Titan Quest Anniversary Edition” for around $25.39 from the website. Both the packs are available at an 80 per cent discount.

The sale will last from Nov. 29 to Dec. 2.
