President Barack Obama will travel to New York on Monday afternoon to participate in the 67th session of the U.N. General Assembly, according to the White House.

After meeting with Vice President Joe Biden for lunch, Obama will leave for New York where he and first lady Michelle Obama are scheduled to tape an interview for the talk show “The View” that will be aired on Tuesday.

Although both the president and first lady have appeared on “The View” several times, this will mark their first joint interview on the show. The interview will touch on topics such as their relationship, family and life inside the White House, according to a press release.

After the taping, President Obama will attend a U.N. reception for visiting heads of state and government as part of the General Assembly of the United Nations being held this week.

Biden has no events scheduled for Monday.
