Ryan Reynolds has shared the first image from the “Deadpool 2” set, but it’s in a location fans will recognize. The actor, in his superhero suit, is lounging outside of the X-Mansion. The home, where many mutants reside, appeared in the first “Deadpool” flick as well.

Though the estate belongs to Professor X, the telepath likely won’t be appearing in the sequel. However, several other mutants will. “Deadpool 2” is set to feature several new and returning mutants.

Cable: “Avengers: Infinity War” star Josh Brolin will ditch Thanos’ purple CGI in the “Deadpool” sequel. Still, Cable, also known as Nathan Winters, has some special abilities. In addition to his cybernetic eye and arm, he is also telepathic, telekinetic and technopathic. His marksman skills also make him a great mercenary.

Domino: Zazie Beetz has been in serious training to play this mutant, and it’s easy to see why. Domino, a.k.a. Neena Thurman, is a master markswoman and a skilled martial artist. She also has enhanced reflexes. Her powers, however, are pretty complicated. She has psychic abilities that allow her to telekinetically affect the probability of her success. She can move things with her mind in order to help her succeed in battle. Like if she were running from a spray of bullets, she’d be able to avoid them all. It’s a useful power, but it only gets triggered in stressful situations.

Teenage Negasonic Warhead (left) and Colossus (right) will not be the only mutants in “Deadpool 2.” 20th Century Fox

Teenage Negasonic Warhead: Viewers met fiery teen Ellie Phimister in the first installment. Brianna Hildebrand plays the annoyed mutant with the abilities to create explosions and telepathically move things. However, in the comics, she has telepathy and precognition. It’s possible that she’ll grow into those powers as the movie universe explores her character more.

Colossus: The metal mutant, voiced by Stefan Kapicic, will return in “Deadpool 2.” As viewers have seen already, Colossus (real name Piotr Rasputin) has a metal exoskeleton as well as superhuman strength, stamina and resilience. The big guy will likely still be mentoring Teenage Negasonic Warhead in the sequel.

Black Tom: This is the one mutant who isn’t guaranteed to appear, but Deadline has anonymous sources that say this could be the character Jack Kesy will be playing in the sequel. Black Tom is definitely a bad guy. He is an Irish villain who can manipulate plant life. That includes bonding himself with and projecting energy through plants. Controlling a garden might not sound tough, but it seems he is pretty powerful. He can even generate concussive blasts through a shillelagh, an Irish wooden club.
