‘World Of Dance’
Will Eva Igo or Diana Pombo represent the junior division in the world finals for “World of Dance” Season 1? NBC

“World of Dance” Season 1 will see contemporary dancers Diana Pombo and Eva Igo facing off against each other.

In the sneak peek released by NBC for Tuesday night’s episode, it has been confirmed that both Pombo and Igo will be using huge props for their routine. Even though both junior dancers are trained in contemporary dancing, their performances will be very different from each other.

Pombo, 11, will dance to Alessia Cara’s hit song, “Wild Things.” The Colombian dancer is wearing a blue and black dress and a black and white knee-high socks. Pombo’s emotions are pouring out on the dance floor with her every move. Her routine is packed with high jumps and several other movements.

Igo’s routine, on the other hand, is more technical compared to that Pombo’s. The 14-year-old dancer from Minnesota is wearing skin-tone two-piece attire that makes her look like a young goddess. Pombo’s act is filled with bends, twists and several other acrobatic moves. The fierce-looking dancer wows judge Derek Hough during one of her jumps.

Either Pombo or Igo, who are both representing the junior division, will be moving on to the world finals. Four other acts from the upper and team divisions will also perform on Tuesday night in “World of Dance” Season 1. Les Twins will be facing off against Keone & Mari. Swing Latino will be battling it out with Kinjaz. The three top scorers from all categories will be the ones competing in the world finals.

Meanwhile, judge and executive producer Jennifer Lopez is very excited for this week’s episode of “World of Dance.” On her Instagram account, the 47-year-old dancer, singer and actress shared a GIF of herself during one of her mentoring sessions in the show. In the caption, Lopez said that the dancers have to give their performance their all tomorrow night since it’s already the “final cut.”

Lopez and Hough are not the only judges in “World of Dance” Season 1. Ne-Yo has also been very helpful in finding the best of the best dancers throughout the entire season. The trio will be back next year together with host Jenna Dewan Tatum for Season 2.

“World of Dance” Season 1 airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. EDT on NBC.
