Jesse Seewald has decided to keep her baby’s gender a secret, but she did accidentally just reveal if she’s having a boy or a girl? The “19 Kids and Counting” reality star took to social media on Monday, telling her fans to check out her newest pregnancy photo on her family’s blog. And while the image didn’t give any direct confirmation of her and husband Ben Seewald’s first child’s gender, it has caused some buzz among fans of the reality brood.

Jessa’s latest image shows a pair of light-colored baby shoes placed in between her and her husband’s feet. In the shot, the mom-to-be is sporting bright pink wedges, leading some to believe Jessa, 22, and Ben, 20, could be welcoming a girl. “Maybe the pink shoes she’s wearing means it’s a girl,” one Facebook fan speculated. “Mama is wearing pink shoes. I say girl,” shared another viewer.

And while some “19 Kids and Counting” viewers are leaning towards their being another female addition to the Duggar/Seewald family, others appear convinced it’s a boy. “Those look like boy shoes to me!” said one Facebook fan. “Those are little boy shoes. Not even white to be mysterious, they’re khaki, so I’m thinking boy,” added another. “I have never seen the girls in Jessa’s family wear shoes like that,” a fan commented on Jessa’s Instagram.

And while Jessa’s latest picture is sparking a gender debate, it is worth noting that the image was shot in the spring. While the couple has since learned their child’s gender, they did not know whether they were expecting a boy or a girl at the time of the photo shoot.

After sharing an ultrasound video last month, the couple announced they had learned their baby’s sex in a blog post titled “Grateful and Blessed.” “Baby Seewald is growing steadily and Mommy has been feeling some little, yet strong, kicks!” they wrote. “We recently had an ultrasound, but aren’t revealing our firstborn’s gender yet. Can’t wait to welcome their blessing from God into the world!”

Jessa reportedly elaborated on her decision to keep the baby’s gender private during her appearance at ALIVE Christian Music Festival in Mineral City, Ohio, on June 20. “She declined to reveal the sex of the baby Saturday, saying they won’t reveal it until the child is born,” People reported.

Jessa and Ben announced they were expecting their first child in April. Baby Seewald is due on Nov. 1, their one-year wedding anniversary.
