Disney-ABC Television Group is partnering with Snap Inc. to product original series for the platform.

Snapchat’s first show is Watch Party: The Bachelor, which debuts on Tuesday, Jan. 3 2017, the morning after The Bachelor’s 21st Season premiere on ABC.

Episodes of Watch Party: The Bachelor are expected to run around 5 minutes each and will be available for 24 hours on Snapchat. Snapchat’s Watch Party: The Bachelor series will appear in the Snapchat Discover section, and the season finale will be produced as a Snapchat Live Story.

Watch Party will also feature a group of celebs, comedians, Bachelor fans and past Bachelor and Bachelorette personalities as they joke around about recent episodes of the Bachelor. Watch Party: The Bachelor will be a weekly Snapchat series, which will debut every Tuesday morning, and will consist of 10 original episodes and one Snapchat Live Story.

Disney-ABC Television plans to roll out several different original shows on Snapchat over the next few months but new details on those shows are sparse.

Snap Inc. has previously run original shows from NBCUniversal, including The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, The Voice and a weekly talk show from E!, The NFL and ESPN.

ABC’s deal with Snapchat is a great way for the company to reach younger audiences.

"We look forward to working together with Snapchat to not only reach Bachelor fans in an entirely new way, but to also provide our advertising partners with even more opportunities," John Frelinghuysen, EVP of digital media, strategy and business development at Disney-ABC Television Group, said in a statement.

"Disney-ABC has rewritten the rules for how to develop daring, fun and adventurous series for TV, mastering formats ranging from scripted to reality and drama to comedy," said Nick Bell, VP of content for Snap Inc., in a statement. "They will be a vital partner as we continue to expand our lineup of shows on Discover, and we're excited to kick off 2017 by bringing one of their most beloved brands to Snapchat."

This year, media companies have been going to Snapchat in an effort to reach millennials from around the world. In fact, just two weeks ago, Snapchat and Turner expanded their deal to develop new Snapchat shows.
