Dunkin Donuts is tweeting up a storm today as it celebrates National Donut Day. The holiday is celebrated the first Friday of each June and began in 1938 as an event by the Salvation Army to honor women who gave out donuts to soldiers during World War I.

Question #4: DD in China offers Shake Shake Munchkins in what flavor? Cheeseburger, Pizza, or Hot Dog?

If you're a U.S. resident and know a bit about the world of donuts, get on Twitter quick to answer the next questions and win a $50 Dunkin Donuts card.

Otherwise, just head to your closest donut store and celebrate. Krispy Kreme is simply giving away one donut per customer, no purchase necessary. Dunkin' Donuts, on the other hand, is giving away a free donut with a purchase of a beverage (soda and cool drinks don't count).
