Emma Watson is planning to leave the fantasy world of Harry Potter behind and follow the foot-steps of Susan Sarandon in The Perks of Being a Wallflower.

Looks like teen icon Emma seems to believe that flashing a little flesh isn't that bad an idea after all.

Well hold on folks, for Emma's role isn't going to ask her to show quite as much skin by playing a prostitute or something instead, her character is to replicate Sarandon's performance in The Rocky Horror Picture Show by dressing up in lingerie.

Emma Watson has described the outfit she'll be wearing as a corset, and she stated that she actually does a Rocky Horror dance in the movie. However, she was far from comfortable trying to groove onstage like Daniel Radcliffe does on Broadway -- Emma said she felt 'ridiculous filming the scene in front of extras onset, said a report in celebs.gather .

The movie will not only be a change from the Harry Potter series, The Perks of Being a Wallflower could also be just the film Emma Watson needs to prove that she can make it big in Hollywood.

Her character in the movie is of a hard-partying teenager named Sam who befriends a troubled introvert named Charlie, a role that will be played by Logan Lerman of Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief fame.

Logan, like Emma Watson, will also be taking a step to move beyond a children's movie franchise, and since the film will be full of references to drug use, homosexuality, sexual abuse, and other serious issues many teens face in the real world, it's safe to say that The Perks of Being a Wallflower is as far away from the fantasy world of Harry Potter as they can possibly get, the report said.

Now we just gotta wait and watch if the skin showing business id going to bring Emma Watson success beyond the Harry Potter series. Well hard to say for Emma, since she has already been well fit into the good girl Hermione's role , but hopefully, it is time for her to leave the child star tag behind and take off as a serious adult role play.
