Don't tell Cookie, but it looks like Boo Boo Kitty has found herself a new scratching post in another one of Lucious’ sons.

Two stars of the wildly popular Fox show “Empire,” Trai Byers and Grace Gealey, stirred up relationship rumors when they were recently spotted getting cozy at a friend’s wedding. The pair attended the ceremony of actors Lauren Whitney Johnson and Cedric Sanders, but eyes could not look away from Byers and Gealey. The new potential couple kept it classy, apparently aware other folks and cameras were watching.

On the show, Trai Byers plays Lucious Lyon’s (Terrence Howard) eldest son, Andre. Originally the apparent heir of the Empire throne, complete with MBA degree in hand, Andre’s bipolar condition worsened as he went off his medication. His deteriorating condition put a strain on his relationship with his father, who also rejected Andre’s wife Rhonda (Kaitlin Doubleday). At the end of Season 1, Andre decides to stage a power play for his father’s company with younger brother Hakeem (Bryshere Y. Gray) after Lucious signs Andre’s righteous musical therapist, played by Jennifer Hudson. Rhonda returned to Andre’s side and defended him against his uncle Vernon, accidentally killing the key witness who could have sent Lucious to jail.

Grace Gealey plays Anika Calhoun on the popular Fox series. In Season 1, the doctor’s daughter spent much of her time enduring taunts from fiancée Lucious’ ex-wife Cookie (Taraji P. Henson). Fresh from 17 years of prison time, Cookie does not take kindly to her younger replacement, writing Anika off quickly as Boo Boo Kitty. After Anika finds Cookie and Lucious rekindling their physical relationship, she leaves Lucious to align with his chief competitor, Billy Beretti (Judd Nelson). In the explosive finale last week, Anika reappeared as youngest Lyon son Hakeem’s latest love interest.

Had Lucious’ original wedding plans gone through with Anika, it would have made her Andre’s step-mother. How’s that for a plot twist "Empire" fans?
