The Thursday night TV lineup is full of heavy-hitters, and nearly all of the fall shows premiering tonight are returning favorites.

“Grey’s Anatomy” Season 14 will kick off with a two-hour premiere on Sept. 28. The supersized episode will take place just after the massive fire. Bailey (Chandra Wilson) will be focused on updating the hospital’s look, but most of the doctors will be focused on their VIP patient, Megan Hunt (Abigail Spencer). After years missing as a prisoner of war, she’ll need some medical attention.

While “Grey’s” used to have seniority on Thursday nights, that changes with the return of “Will & Grace.” The sitcom originally ran from 1998 to 2006, and the revival will catch up with the quartet in the present day. It’ll feel like no time at all has passed, especially since the revival will ignore the series finale that jumped forward several years.

NBC’s comedy lineup also includes the return of “Superstore.” The Season 3 premiere will feature Amy (America Ferrera) and Jonah (Ben Feldman) addressing that kiss while trying to get Cloud 9 ready for its grand reopening.

“Superstore” will be followed by “The Good Place,” which premiered last week but moves into its official timeslot on Thursday. Later, “Great News” Season 2 kicks off, and Tina Fey will be introduced as the new boss.

Those who stay up late have a couple dramas to choose from. “How to Get Away With Murder” Season 4 will show Annalise (Viola Davis) coming home to put her life back together. Meanwhile, Laurel (Karla Souza) will be investigating how Wes (Alfred Enoch) died. Of course, the “HTGAWM” premiere will also include a flash forward with a big crime.

Also on at 10 p.m. is “Chicago Fire.” Chief Boden (Eamonn Walker) must make a difficult decision in the Season 6 premiere when most of the squad is still trapped in the warehouse fire. Elsewhere, Dawson (Monica Raymund) deals with her father, and Brett (Kara Killmer) gets a visit from a childhood friend.

Those who would rather binge-watch a full season tonight can catch “StartUp” Season 2 on Crackle, Sony’s free streaming platform. Season 1 left off with GenCoin, the team’s new digital currency, being taken by the mob. The group will invent a new dark web this season, and that’ll land them in even more trouble. Ron Perlman joins the cast for the new episodes.
