Danielle Panabaker’s upcoming appearance at the Chicago Comics and Entertainment Expo (C2E2) this coming weekend is a homecoming of sorts as “The Flash” actress once lived in Naperville, a suburb in Chicago, before ultimately moving to Los Angeles in 2003.

According to Daily Herald, Panabaker had already begun her acting career before relocating to Naperville from Atlanta, where she and her sister, Kay Panabaker, worked as local theater actors. During their stay in Naperville, Panabaker starred in a number of commercials and community theater productions. She also attended Neuqua Valley High School for a year before finally moving to Los Angeles.

“We loved Naperville, but we wanted to pursue acting seriously, and we decided that being in Los Angeles was pretty much a requirement for that,” Panabaker told the news outlet.

Relocating to Los Angeles was a great career move for Panabaker as she had been part of several films and TV series since then. Panabaker currently plays Caitlin Snow and her villainous alter ego Killer Frost on “The Flash,” which she will talk about at C2E2 2017. The event will be held at South Building at McCormick Place in Chicago from April 21 to 23.

“I went to my first one two years ago, and I really liked it,” Panabaker told Daily Herald. “These shows are such a great way to interact with the fans. “I really feel it when I meet fans and see how devoted they are not just to the show, but to these characters throughout their history. I’m very fortunate to be part of it, and to be working in television right now, a time when so much incredible work is being done in the medium.”

According to the C2E2 official website, Panabaker will sign autographs and talk about “The Flash” on Saturday, April 22. She is also scheduled for more autograph signing sessions the following day, Sunday, April 23. Click here for tickets.

Meanwhile, the latest episode of “The Flash” didn’t end well for Caitlin. After being seriously hurt in a battle against Abra Kadabra (David Dastmalchian), Caitlin technically died. But she was resurrected as Killer Frost after Julian (Tom Felton) removed the necklace that suppressed her abilities. The episode closed with Killer Frost towering over Julian, Cisco (Carlos Valdes) and H.R. (Tom Cavanagh).

According to the synopsis for next week’s Season 3, episode 19, Team Flash starts to hunt Killer Frost before she can harm anyone else.

“The Flash” Season 3, episode 19, titled “The Once and Future Flash” airs on Tuesday, April 25 at 8 p.m. EDT on The CW.
