Genevieve Sabourin, the French-Canadian actress arrested for allegedly stalking Alec Baldwin, said she met him more than a decade ago on a movie set and the two became lovers, while the actor says he only took her to dinner in a professional manner.

The 30 Rock star told police he was trying to help Sabourin land some movie roles in the United Stated and twice took her to dinner in 2011, sources told the New York Post. Baldwin, 54, has denied any affair with Sabourin, 40.

Sabourin was arraigned in a Manhattan court on Monday, a day after she was arrested on stalking and aggravated harassment charges. Baldwin filed a complaint with police, and she was told to stay away from him.

She was released on her own recognizance, the Huffington Post reported, and Baldwin was given a temporary order of protection.

As everyone knows, stalking is a serious issue, so we've turned this matter over to the New York Police Department, Matthew Hiltzik, Baldwin's publicist, told the media.

Sabourin has claimed the two had more than a casual acquaintance.

She lost it when news broke earlier this month that Baldwin was engaged to Hilaria Thomas, 28, a yoga instructor, the New York Post reported. A law enforcement source told the paper Sabourin has claimed that she and Baldwin had sex, and that he wanted her to have his baby.

She's claiming that she and Alec were lovers, another source told the paper.

Sabourin first met Baldwin on the set of The Adventures of Pluto Nash when she was a publicist, according to various reports. She also allegedly emailed Baldwin, telling him to Say I do to me.
