Remember how New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady's supermodel wife Gisele Bundchen blamed her husband's wide receivers for New England's Super Bowl loss to the New York Giants on Sunday?

Well, Giants running back Brandon Jacobs sure did, and reports say he had something to say about it during Tuesday's Super Bowl rally at MetLife Stadium.

She just needs to continue to stay cute and shut up, he told reporters.

The Patriots led 17-15 with 4:06 remaining in the fourth quarter of Super Bowl XLVI when Brady threw a pass on second-and-11 to Wes Welker from the New York 44-yard line. Welker was open 23 yards downfield and turned his body, but couldn't grasp the ball, which was a bit high and behind him. A catch could have put the Patriots in position to put the game away.

However, the Giants went on to score a touchdown on the very next possession and stopped any hopes of a Patriots comeback the possession after that, putting the game away 21-17.

Moments after the game, Bundchen didn't criticize specific receivers, but it was assumed her primary target was Welker. Receiver Deion Branch and tight end Aaron Hernandez may have also been implicated because they too had key drops.

You [need] to catch the ball when you're supposed to catch the ball, said Bundchen while waiting for an elevator. My husband cannot f-----g throw the ball and catch the ball at the same time. I can't believe they dropped the ball so many times.

Jacobs was more direct, but Giants defensive end Osi Umenyiora was a bit more diplomatic about what he thought of Bundchen's frustration.

I mean she's supposed to stay out of things like that, said Umenyiora. But at the end of the day that's their relationship and she has the right to say whatever she wants to.
