Giants v. Patriots: Who is the Hottest WAG of Super Bowl 2012? [PHOTOS, POLL]

It is an age old adage that football players date pretty girls. In high school, they pair off with cheerleaders. In college they choose sorority girls. Once in the pros, however, they opt for supermodels, actresses and drop-dead stunners it seems.

On Sunday, the Giants will play the Patriots in the 2012 Super Bowl XLVI. Going head to head are two of the best teams in the league -- with some of the hottest WAGs (Wives and Girlfriends).

Tom Brady will have Brazilian wife and supermodel Gisele Bundchen by his side tonight. The beautiful couple wed in 2009 in a small yet lavish ceremony in Santa Monica, Calif. They have a 2-year-old son together, Benjamin. The couple just moved into a new home -- a $20 million Los Angeles home complete with a six-car garage, a lagoon-shaped swimming pool and a gym.

Gisele will fly to Indianapolis to cheer on her man. Making the rounds this week was a private email she sent to family and friends, asking for prayers for her Tommy. She wrote: My sweet friends and family, This sunday [sic] will be a really important day in my husband's life. He and his team worked so hard to get to this point and now they need us more than ever to send them positive energy so they can fulfill their dream of winning this super bowl [sic].

Clearly Gisele is a doting wife.

Another favorite on the WAG radar is Eli Manning's wife, Abby Manning. The petite, pretty blonde has oft been stacked up to Gisele, since the two are some of the most famous WAGs in the NFL. However, Abby and Gisele come from two totally different planets. While Gisele and Tom go for the opulent, A-lister lifstyle, Abby and Eli keep it more low-key. Eli and Abby are college sweethearts. They rarely attend rep carpet events, instead they choose to devot their time to smaller, philanthropic events.

Other WAGs have been busy supporting their men for the upcoming Super Bowl XVLI. Been here 3 days n all i got was a hug n forehead kiss, havent heard his voice!! tweeted Evelyn Lozado, fiancee of Chad Ochocino, when asked if her beau is in intense game mode.

Though Victoria's Secret stunner Selita Ebanks broke up with Giants player Osi Umenyiore and is now dating BET host Terrance J, she can still qualify as a WAG since she looked great while in the role.
