‘Girls’
Hannah (Lena Dunham) and Adam (Adam Driver) may have just found the closure that they have been looking for in “Girls” Season 6, episode 8. HBO

Girls” Season 6, episode 8 recently featured the reunion of Adam (Adam Driver) and Hannah (Lena Dunham).

In “What Will We Do This Time About Adam?,” Adam told his girlfriend, Jessa (Jemima Kirke), that he wants to help Hannah raise her baby. Jessa agreed with Adam because she didn’t want him to have any regrets about not trying to pursue his ex-girlfriend. At first, Jessa seemed to be completely fine with the idea of Adam reuniting with Hannah. After all, the two shared a long history together before Jessa came into the picture. But in the end, Jessa suffered from too much stress and ended up vomiting.

When Adam finally found Hannah at her local bodega, he told her that he is willing to raise her child. A confused Hannah did not have any idea where Adam’s decision came from, so they ended up discussing it briefly at Hannah’s apartment. But instead of just talking, the two ended up having sex. This triggered even more confusion from Hannah’s end, but it was obvious that Adam was sure of what he wanted to do.

Towards the end of the episode, Hannah still could not decide whether reuniting with Adam was a good idea. It’s obvious that the two still have feelings for each other. But they were also previously in a toxic relationship that left them broken for a really long time. When Adam offered to marry Hannah, that’s when she realized how different they are so she refused.

Hannah has decided to not reunite with Adam or to even allow him to parent her child. She also didn’t agree to tie the knot with him so Adam ended up going home to Jessa. The latter accepted him with open arms as though nothing happened.

“Girls” Season 6 airs Sundays at 10 p.m. EST on HBO.
