Well, the cat's out of the bag now! Maggie (Kelly McCrery) finally broke the news to Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) that she is her half-sister in Season 11, episode 2. How did Mer react to finding out her family tree is more twisted than she thought? Well, not gracefully.

“What do you want? What are you after here? You’re five years younger than me. If my mother were pregnant I would have known. You’re lying. Stay away from me,” Meredith freaked out in “Puzzle With a Piece Missing.”

And her disbelief will only grow stronger when episode 3, “Got to be Real,” airs next Thursday. According to a sneak peek video, Meredith will completely unravel to Alex (Justin Chambers), her new “person,” about the shocking revelation.

“I do not need another sister. She’s a lying liar. I would know if my mother were pregnant when I was five. My mother was not pregnant when I was five. She’s like a psycho – like stalker. I’m being stalked. This is criminal!” she ranted to Alex while he was in the shower.

But Alex can barely focus on Meredith’s drama considering he has a plateful of it himself. “Dr. Butthole” fired him from the private practice when Maggie spilled the beans that Alex was being considered for a place on the board. Now the newly unemployed doctor is preparing for a crucial interview -- not only to determine whether or not he will fill Yang’s (Sandra Oh) old seat, but for a job in general!

"Mer, I realize that I said I would take over as your person. Maybe that means I have to buy your tampons and act like your husband’s hair is special and c---," Alex told Meredith. "But I have a very important presentation to make to the board today. To get a job, which I need because I was fired by Dr. Butthole. I have been practicing all night. I am sleep deprived. I need to shower -- alone -- and focus!"

But Meredith is relentless. She pulled back the shower curtain one more time to explain her current predicament. “The new cardio chief thinks she’s my biological sister,” Meredith reiterated.

“She what. Wait… what? That’s insane,” he replied, finally understanding the gravity of Meredith’s issue.

The two will spend episode 3 trying to uncover the truth of whether Maggie is actually Ellis Grey’s (Kate Burton) daughter. But that’s not all that’s supposed to happen in “Got to be Real.” According to the summary, Owen (Kevin McKidd) will introduce Callie (Sara Ramirez) to the Veterans Hospital patients “in hopes that she will help them with her robotic limb lab.” Now that she and Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) have put their family plans on hold, it doesn’t look like Callie has much reason to say no.

Jo (Camilla Luddington) will become jealous of Alex and Meredith’s friendship in the coming episode of “Grey’s Anatomy” -- and we don’t blame her. Although Meredith and Alex have a completely platonic relationship, it would still rub anyone the wrong way to have their significant other shower and spend an enormous amount of quality time with another person.

Speaking of quality time, Maggie will continue to confide in Dr. Webber (James Pickens, Jr.) throughout episode 3. We suggest Dr. Webber find the courage to speak up now, because when Maggie finds out he’s actually her father she’s going to feel pretty betrayed. Meanwhile, Alex and Bailey (Chandra Wilson) will also go head to head for a position on the board.
