Gwyneth Paltrow Tops Most-Hated Celebrities List: See The 20 Most-Hated Celebrities In Hollywood

Actress Gwyneth Paltrow’s status as a world-renowned actress wasn’t enough to shield her from the ire of her detractors.

Despite her impressive career in film and well-documented marriage to “Coldplay” frontman Chris Martin, the 40-year-old thespian topped Star magazine’s annual list of the “20 Most Hated Celebrities in Hollywood," Fox News reports via ANI.

The Academy Award-winning star of “Shakespeare in Love” surpassed polarizing “Twilight” actress Kristen Stewart to earn the list’s top spot. Stewart’s notorious affair with “Snow White and the Huntsman” director Rupert Sanders behind boyfriend Robert Pattinson’s back likely contributed to her high ranking.

Musicians John Mayer and Taylor Swift, known for their serial dating habits, were ranked fourth and sixteenth, respectively.

R&B singer Chris Brown also made the list, checking in at No. 20. Brown has been vilified in the media for a variety of public tantrums, most notably the 2009 incident in which he assaulted Rihanna and his 2012 brawl with rapper Drake in a New York City nightclub.

Tabloid fixtures Kim Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Justin Bieber and Lindsay Lohan also earned a spot on Star’s “Most Hated” list.
