Noah Bennet's (Jack Coleman) fear of losing his grandchildren, Tommy, a.k.a. Nathan (Robbie Kay), and Malina (Danika Yarosh), to Erica Kravid (Rya Khilstedt) partially came true on NBC's "Heroes Reborn." Bennet was betrayed by his friend Quentin (Henry Zebrowski) who took Nathan to Erica, leaving the boy on dangerous ground for the fall finale, titled "11:53 To Odessa."

Nathan will have to team up with Erica in order to complete his mission of saving the world in episode 10. Without Bennet around, will Nathan be able to realize what his destiny is and know what Erica's evil intentions are?

Meanwhile, Nathan's sister Malina will be forced to use her power to save people around her from some sort of life-threatening force. While Malina uses her power, Bennet will come across Luke (Zachary Levi) who has been alongside Malina in her search for her brother.

The promo video reveals that Bennet might go missing, after Malina is shown looking for Bennet but is only able to find his glasses. As the video comes to an end, Malina asks, "My grandfather ... where is he?" It was already revealed that fan-favorite Claire Bennet (Hayden Panettiere) died while giving birth to Nathan and Malina, will the show now claim her father?

Carlos's (Ryan Guzman) plan of saving his nephew failed and now he has been taken into the custody of the Director of Sunstone, old hero Matt Parkman (Greg Grunberg). Parkman, who now works for Erica, has forced Carlos to look to his war past. While looking at Carlos's memories, Parkman discovered that Carlos knew an evo he was familiar with and that he has plans to somehow use Carlos.

Although it seemed like their story and mission was completed a few weeks ago on the show, Ren (Toru Uchikado) must once again find Miko (Kiki Sukezane) in the fall finales. Miko's new mission appears to involve the future, after she was shown waking up in an empty desert in the year 7957 in the end of episode 9.
