The “Teen Mom” world was thrown into frenzy when rumors swirled that “Teen Mom 3” star Briana DeJesus was going to join the cast of “Teen Mom 2” for Season 8. Her future co-stars Kailyn Lowry, Chelsea Houska, Leah Messer and Jenelle Evans are reportedly not pleased and one of those reasons is because of how much money DeJesus is slated to earn for her stint on the unscripted MTV series.

DeJesus will reportedly earn much less than Lowry, Evans, Houska and Messer, making $20,000 for her first season on “Teen Mom 2,” The Ashley wrote in an exclusive report Wednesday. Twenty thousand is what the “Teen Mom 2” girls made for their second season on the show. Technically, this would be the second season for DeJesus since she only did one season with “Teen Mom 3,” The Ashley added.

On the flip side, the original “Teen Mom 2” girls reportedly earn more than $300,000 for each season, the blog previously reported. The cast reportedly thinks DeJesus is making too much money at $20,000 per season, even though it’s not even a quarter of what they earn.

DeJesus pulled a Lowry, getting pregnant and not revealing the name of her father. Being pregnant with an unidentified man’s child was the reason she was picked to join the “Teen Mom 2” cast, her former co-star MacKenzie McKee said.

“This is nothing against her. I think maybe her story was more interesting than mine,” she told Radar Online Monday.

Mckee threw some shade when she compared herself to DeJesus. “I have worked very hard for where I am,” she said. “I’m working on all this stuff and what has she done? She’s not working on anything.”

Evans essentially admitted that she wasn’t pleased about DeJesus joining the cast. “I’m not commenting on it at all,” she exclusively told The Dirty.com last week. “MTV wanted me to film about it and I even told them no.”
