HTC recently announced the HTC One in Vivid Blue HTC

There are now release details available for the Vivid Blue HTC One following its unveiling last Tuesday at the 2013 IFA Expo.

Primary reports indicated that the handset would be released “in select markets” during the fourth quarter of the year. Electronics retailer Best Buy confirmed Monday that it will be the exclusive retailer for the Vivid Blue HTC One, which will be available starting Sept. 15. Customers will also have the option of choosing among the Verizon, AT&T, and Sprint networks to power their handset.

HTC reports that the release of the Vivid Blue HTC One will begin with a sales promotion valid with a two-year service, but details of the sale are not yet available. The Taiwanese manufacturer hopes the new metallic blue color option will be a big seller for the holidays.

In addition to Vivid Blue, the HTC One will also release in Glacial Silver and Stealth Black color options, as well as a Glamour Red option, which sells exclusively on the Sprint network. The HTC One released internationally in March and has sold more than 5 million handsets.

Overseas, the Vivid Blue HTC One will reportedly be exclusive to the U.K. retailer Carphone Warehouse and will release in late September.

The HTC One features a sleek aluminum unibody, a 4.7-inch Full HD display, a 1.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 CPU, 2GB RAM and a 4MP UltraPixel camera, among its main specs. The HTC One also features the Sense 5 UI on top of Android Jelly Bean, showcasing the popular HTC BlinkFeed tool, which acts as an organizer for news and social media.
