HTC recently announced the HTC One in Vivid Blue HTC

The previously elusive blue color option for the HTC One has now been spotted in the wild, and reports indicate that the handset will release “in select markets” during the fourth quarter of the year.

HTC announced its Vivid Blue HTC One model on Tuesday in addition to the HTC Desire 601 and HTC Desire 300 smartphones and the HTC BoomBass Bluetooth-enabled subwoofer. HTC is expected to reveal more information about its upcoming products at the 2013 IFA expo, which takes place from Sept. 6-11. However HTC says the new smartphones and accessory will release in October.

There is little word on exactly when the Vivid Blue HTC One will be available for U.S. markets; however, rumors suggest that the color option will be available on the Sprint network starting Sept. 10. The Vivid Blue HTC One will reportedly be powered by both Verizon and Sprint upon its release. Verizon recently released the HTC One on its network, while Sprint has had the device since April, just after its international release in March.

The HTC One comes in Glacial Silver and Stealth Black standard colors, while the Glamour Red color option sells exclusively on the Sprint network.

Overseas, the Vivid Blue HTC One will reportedly be exclusive to the U.K. retailer Carphone Warehouse and will release in late September.

The HTC One features a sleek aluminum unibody, a 4.7-inch Full HD display, a 1.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 CPU, 2GB RAM and a 4MP UltraPixel camera, among its main specs. The HTC One also features the Sense 5 UI on top of Android Jelly Bean, showcasing the popular HTC BlinkFeed tool, which acts as an organizer for news and social media.
