A shoe cleaner in China who had not heard from her daughter for the past five years, since she left, was re-united after a stranger tweeted the lady’s picture taken in his iPhone in a micro-blogging site.

The 71-year-old lady had begged the stranger to search for her daughter online, but there was no Wi-Fi available in the area.

The person took her picture with his iPhone and posted it in the Chinese micro-blogging site, Weibo, where the tweet was re-tweeted 100,000 times.

After the story ran for three days in Weibo and other media as well, the daughter saw her mother’s photo on June 27 and called her.

And this re-united the mother, Zhingshu Fang, with her missing daughter.
