Jason Dufner, Wife Amanda Reach Divorce Settlement After 'Irretrievable Breakdown' Of Marriage

Golfer Jason Dufner and his wife, social media darling Amanda Dufner, have reached a divorce settlement, according to a report. The exact reason for the split has yet to be revealed, though court filings cited “a complete incompatibility of temperament that the parties can no longer live together,” according to GolfChannel.com.

Jason and Amanda Dufner suffered an “irretrievable breakdown of the marriage,” according to the divorce documents, which were filed on March 16. They reportedly separated on Feb. 17 and have been living apart. The divorce was expected to be approved by a judge and become final in April.

Under the settlement’s terms, Jason Dufner will retain ownership of the couple’s two homes, both of which are located in Auburn, Alabama. Meanwhile, Amanda Dufner will receive $2.5 million. Neither Jason nor Amanda Dufner has publicly commented on the divorce.

The Dufners have a massive following on the Internet and social media. Jason graduated from Auburn University, while Amanda attended the University of Alabama, according to East Alabama Living. They met through a mutual friend, got engaged in 2011 and married in May 2012.
