The recent split from husband Marc Anthony does not seem to have stopped Jennifer Lopez from enjoying a night out celebrating her 42nd birthday with friends and family on Saturday, July 23.

The singer celebrated her birthday at the Scarpetta restaurant inside in Fontainebleau hotel in Miami with friends and family, and enjoyed the evening despite her recent personal troubles, reported contactmusic.com.

The singer split from her husband, ending seven years of marriage, and has three-year-old twins Max and Emme

"Jennifer looked radiant in a purple and silver evening dress. And when they brought out her birthday cake after the meal, she began to sing, a source told People magazine. "She was very happy. The whole group had a blast, staying for hours. They closed down the restaurant."

The On the floor singer was at the Wine Cellar of the Forge on Miami Beach on Friday July 22, and was seen socializing with everyone present.

A source added: "Jennifer and her group arrived at around 9pm and went directly to the private wine cellar for a pre-birthday dinner. It was very secluded and beautiful among the bottles with bold vibrant labels."

J. Lo's twitter account was flooded with messages wishing her a Happy birthday. She replied to the messages saying "Thank you all of my Lovers for the birthday wishes! I'm having an amazing day surrounded by family and friends."
