New York Jets coach Rex Ryan will be fined between $75,000 and $100,000 by the NFL for cursing at a fan during half-time last Sunday night reports ESPN. The Jets lost the game to the New England Patriots.

At Sunday's game, the exchange between Ryan and a fan was video recorded and uploaded to YouTube.

Hey Rex, Belichick's better than you, a heckler shouted as the coach and team were walking into the locker rooms at Met Life Stadium during half-time. Bill Belichick is the coach for the New England Patriots.

Ryan snapped back, Shut the f--k up, drawing cheers, laughs and cries from the crowd.

The Jets coach apologized the following day for his remark.

I was emotional, it was an emotional time, Ryan said reported ESPN. I obviously made a mistake. I was full of emotion and just popped off. Obviously, I know I represent the National Football League, I know I represent the Jets, and I know it was a mistake. I apologize for it.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell is reviewing the incident, but according to Yahoo News, a fine will be assigned to Ryan Monday. Ryan was fined $50,000 last year for making an obscene gesture during a mixed martial arts event in Miami, which will affect the amount he's fined this time.

This is who I am ... I'm about as big a competitor as there is and, at that time, I was in no mood to hear anything, but I also understand I have to handle that better, he said.
