Julianne Moore cast to play Sarah Palin

Just when the world thought Tina Fey did the best Sarah Palin impersonation, actress Julianne Moore will give it a shot.

According to a report by Hollywood Reporter, Julianne Moore has been cast to play Sarah Palin in HBO's new film, Game Change.

The film follows John McCain's 2008 presidential campaign, from his selection of the former governor of Alaska as his running mate up until the very end where they lose to President Barack Obama.

The film is based on the book Game Change by John Heilemann and Mark Halperin. The film will be directed by Jay Roach and the script will be written by Danny Strong.

Roach and Strong will also serve as the film's executive producers.
