Karrueche Tran sat down for an OWN interview with life coach Iyanla Vanzant, and instead of being upset that his ex-girlfriend was talking openly about their personal issues, Chris Brown found the sit-down to be “gut-wrenching” to watch, a source told Hollywood Life. The on-again, off-again couple called it quits, seemingly for good, after Tran found out the singer fathered a child while they were in a relationship.

Tran has stayed relatively quiet since she announced their breakup, but her interview Saturday was almost too much for Brown to take. “It was gut-wrenching for him to watch. He felt bad and had a knot in his stomach the entire time she explained how she was feeling,” a source told Hollywood Life. “He doesn’t want to be a d--- like that. He really wants to be loved and to give love,” the source added. “He just doesn’t know how to love full-heartedly.”

Brown, 25, cheated on Tran in the past, but the beauty revealed she still has feelings for him. “I still love him,” she said. “If he were to change, we’d be in a better place. But that’s the problem.”

Tran’s interview made Brown realize he needs to change his ways. That it isn’t the women he dates -- he’s the one with the problem.

Even though she loves him, Tran, 26, said she is not willing to take Brown back. But Brown still wants to fight for her affection. “He’s not mad at anything she said in that interview. He just wants her back,” the insider said.

Brown’s 9-month-old daughter, Royalty, is being taken care of by her biological mother, Nia Guzman, in Texas, but rumors recently swirled that they are moving closer to Brown. When asked by paparazzi what she thought of it, Tran simply said, "Good for him.”
