Forget adding just one new baby to their royal family; according to a new gossip report, the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, and her husband of three years, The Duke of Cambridge, Prince William, are expecting twins!

OK! Magazine published claims this week that Middleton, 32, is pregnant with her second and third child, much to the pleasure of Prince William, 31. “She and William have been trying since January,” an unidentified source close to the royals told the magazine, adding that the couple, who welcomed their first son, Prince George, last July, are hoping for girls this time around. “With all the boys in his family, he’s trying to even up the balance,” said the insider.

The latest report follows claims published by The Globe in February, which stated that Middleton was pregnant with her second child. According to the print tabloid, the Duchess had been spreading the word that she was allegedly pregnant with a future princess. “Kate has already told William, ‘I’m having a girl!’” a source told the magazine last month, adding confirmation that at the time of her announcement, Middleton had yet to undergo an official gender determining ultrasound. “She’s only 14 weeks along,” said an insider, adding, “[But] she told William she feels so much different than her first pregnancy, when she had to be hospitalized with severe morning sickness that plagued her for weeks.”

While the royal family has yet to confirm or deny reports that Middleton is with child, The Globe previously claimed that the royal couple already has a potential female name in mind. “William has always said that if he had a daughter, he’d like to name her after his late mother, Princess Diana,” said a source, adding that William’s grandmother, the Queen of England, is a fan of the rumored child’s potential moniker. “Queen Elizabeth has given her blessing. … She knows how much it would mean to William to honor his mom,” said the insider.

Prince William and Kate Middleton were last spotted together arriving in the Maldives on Thursday for a weeklong vacation. According to a report from the U.K.'s Express, the couple left 7-month-old Prince George at home in London for the tropical getaway.
