A recent Kehlani concert was cut short after the singer broke down on stage, telling fans she felt “crazy.” Performing in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the singer told fans she couldn’t go on with the show and would probably have to head to the hospital afterwards.

“I can’t sit up here and not give you guys the show,” Kehlani said to the crowd, before promising to refund the tickets. “If that means out of my pocket that I have to refund or I have to reschedule, then that’s what I have to do because I truly feel like I might have to go to the hospital at this point because I feel crazy.”

Holding back tears, the singer told her fans she was sorry, saying she promised her team that she would come out on stage and try to perform. “I’m so sorry. I’m so sorry,” Kehlani said while wiping away tears. “Let us know if you need to be refunded, and I’ll take it out my pocket… I put that on everything… I need to go do something about this cause I feel crazy.”

On Tuesday, Kehlani’s manager took to Twitter to update fans on the singer’s condition, claiming the singer got sick. “Kehlani all good, she was under the weather last night the cold weather got our whole bus sick! We back to business tomorrow night in Detroit.”

The venue where the singer performed, The Intersection, also posted its own update, saying they were working to reschedule the show. “We’re currently working on a rescheduled date for the Kehlani show, and are terribly sorry for the inconvenience tonight,” the post read.

“We hope to have a new date announced for you within the next 24 hours, and will also email anyone who purchased online. All tickets for tonight will still be valid for entry to the new show without any additional charge, but if you’re unable to attend you will receive a full ticket refund,” it continued.

The cancellation of the the Michigan concert comes nearly two months after the singer was forced to cancel the remaining dates on her European tour. Kehlani was forced to cut the tour short due to an “unexpected surgery” for a hernia. She promised to refund and reschedule the show. “I love you all so much. Thank you for everything,” she told her fans in a now-deleted tweet.

In 2016, the 22-year-old singer found herself in the hospital after an apparent suicide attempt. Kehlani posted a photo of her hooked up to an IV with a caption that read, “Today I wanted to leave this earth. Being completely selfish for once. Never thought I’d get to such a low point.”

The singer hasn’t openly discussed the incident, but during a January interview with Elle, she said her only focus now was herself. “I’m just trying to be successful in my own terms and be happy and be healthy and that’s it.”

Kehlani, currently on the American leg of her Sweet Sexy Savage World Tour, is scheduled to perform in Detroit on May 10 and will continue touring until Aug. 31 when she ends her tour in Australia.
