R&B singer Kehlani is putting her European tour on hold after being forced to head back home for “unexpected surgery.” The singer took to Instagram to reveal why her tour dates would have to be postponed. Kehlani revealed she will have to undergo surgery on her stomach for a hernia. To prove that something was actually wrong with her, she posted a photo along with a caption explaining the situation.

“Hey guys… I’ve enjoyed being on the road in Europe so so much these past weeks,” she wrote on Instagram. “I’m deeply saddened to announce that I have to fly home for sudden unexpected surgery on my stomach, as some of you know I have a hernia (that squishy ball thingy above my belly button) and it’s gotten to a point if necessary surgery.”

With 10 dates left on the European leg of her tour, shows in Poland, Switzerland, Austria, France and Germany will have to be rescheduled. The singer took to Twitter to assure fans the dates would be made up and money would be refunded.

“Yes we will refund and reschedule, taking care of this is most important right now. I love you all so much. Thank you for everything,” she tweeted. The “Distraction” singer is scheduled to begin the American leg of her tour on April 1 in Philadelphia. It’s unclear if those dates will be affected.

Last year, Kehlani found herself in the hospital after an apparent suicide attempt. The singer posted a photo of her hooked up to an IV with a caption that read, “Today I wanted to leave this earth. Being completely selfish for once. Never thought I’d get to such a low point.”

She has shied away from discussing the incident but during a January interview with Elle, her only focus now is herself. “I’m just trying to be successful in my own terms and be happy and be healthy and that’s it.”
