In a very uneventful match, heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitchko defeated David Haye in a unanimous decision in Hamburg, Germany.

Klitchko dominated with his jab, as Haye failed to take many chances.

In the the 12th round, Haye connected on a hard right hand, but aside from that, the Englishman almost refused to throw a hard punch.

Klitchko has now unified the title belts. He fought a defensive, and tactical fight. Klitchko stayed in the middle of the ring for a great deal of the fight, and connected on some right crosses.

Haye flopped on multiple occasions, and one time it led to a one-point deduction to Klitchko for a pushdown. Other than that, there was little to show for Haye because of a tremendous lack of activity.

Most boxing experts had Klitchko winning more nine rounds or more.
