“Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star Kylie Jenner always knew her father, Caitlyn (formerly Bruce), was transgender, she told Wonderland in its cover story Thursday. Though Jenner enjoys doing girly things with Caitlyn, her favorite part about the transition is there are no more secrets in the family.

The thing that hurt the 18-year-old the most was the lies. “I honestly just wanted to not be lied to. I just wanted honesty and no secrets,” she said, according to Us Weekly. She said she sensed that Caitlyn was transgender since she was a little girl. “I mean, obviously I knew about it my whole life, but it was never admitted to and then it was all said and done,” Jenner said.

The E! reality star likes Caitlyn better than Bruce “because we talk about makeup and clothes and we bond a lot more,” she said on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” in November.

Jenner isn’t the only one who is opening up. Her boyfriend, “Rack City” rapper Tyga, recently said he didn’t understand why people made a big deal about their 8-year age gap when they went public with their relationship. “I didn’t understand it though,” he told San Francisco’s KMEL-FM on Wednesday, according to celebrity blogger Perez Hilton. “Because I’m like, ‘This person is a really good person.’ ”

Jenner, on the other hand, remained mum about her relationship with Tyga. In the past, she said she didn’t care to reveal every aspect of their relationship. “I’ve never believed in the idea of the public knowing everything about my relationship and every time I break up and make up,” she wrote on her blog last year. “I’m not afraid to show who I’m dating, but I’m also not about to talk about every little detail of my relationship.”

Season 2 of “I Am Cait” will premiere on E! Sunday, March 6 at 9 p.m. EST.
