Lindsay Lohan could make her big movie comeback in the upcoming sequel of “Life-Size.”

While at the Television Critics Association summer press tour on Thursday, “America’s Got Talent” host Tyra Banks confirmed that she and Lohan have been in contact with each other lately. The two celebrities starred in the movie “Life-Size” together in 2000.

“Lindsay and I have been slipping into each other’s DM’s a lot lately. I think she’s very interested in returning. It’s about figuring out what that role is. I’d like it to be kind of robust. I’m not looking for a Lindsay cameo, I’m looking for her to have something pretty meaty for ‘Life-Size 2,’ so we shall see what our writers come up with,” Banks said.

In the film, Lohan played the role of a young girl who was desperate to resurrect her deceased mother using a magic spell. But Lohan’s character ends up bringing Banks’ Barbie-like character, Eve, to life instead. According to a synopsis released in April, “Life-Size 2” will follow Eve as she helps a woman live a better life after experiencing years of hardship.

Last month, Banks and Lohan fueled speculations that they would be reuniting in the sequel. On her Twitter account, Lohan urged her fans to vote for Banks as choice TV personality for the Teen Choice Awards and noticeably called Banks Eve. The “America’s Next Top Model” creator then thanked Lohan and called her Casey in her response.

Lohan has not starred in feature-length film since 2013. She last appeared in “The Canyons.” However, Lohan recently landed a supporting role in the second season of TV series “Sick Note” in the United Kingdom.

The release date for “Life-Size 2” has not yet been announced, but Freeform will air the sequel as part of its holiday lineup next year. The other actors who will appear in the sequel haven’t been named, but the 2000 film featured Jere Burns, Garwin Sanford, Anne Marie DeLuise and more.
