The man seen in a photo with Britney Spears on a boat, is not her new boyfriend, TMZ reported on Tuesday. The photograph was posted on Instagram by Spears a day before her amicable split with Charlie Ebersol was announced on Monday.

Spears captioned the photo, “So nice to be home! Nothing like Louisiana boys,” raising speculation about whether she was dating the man, identified only as Harris. TMZ reported that she was on Lake Louisiana with some friends and family, and Harris, a local boat handler, asked if he could take a picture with her. She agreed to the request, but wanted the photograph to be taken from her phone.

Harris was reportedly shocked to see that Spears, who recently released a new single “Pretty Girls” with Iggy Azalea, posted the photo on social media with that caption.

Spears and Ebersol started dating in October 2014 and even attended the 2015 Billboard Music Awards in May together. Spears has deleted all the Instagram photos with Ebersol since the announcement of their break-up.

"I just felt that he was in it for the wrong reasons," a source told Us Weekly on Monday, adding that the singer “doesn’t like being alone.”

In January 2004, Spears married her friend Jason Alexander, a marriage that lasted only 55 hours. She later married Kevin Federline, a dancer and rapper, and the two were together from 2004 until 2007. She was then engaged to Jason Trawick, a talent agent, in December 2011. The two were together until January 2013.
