Maddie Ziegler is no longer just living on the dance floor. Following two successful performances in pop singer Sia’s music videos “Chandelier” and “Elastic Heart,” the “Dance Moms” reality star will make her guest-starring debut on the Disney Channel’s musical/comedy series “Austin & Ally” Saturday.

Ahead of the Season 4 episode’s premiere, Disney has released a promo video for the installment starring Maddie, 12. In “Homework & Hidden Talents,” Maddie will portray a “talented student” named Shelby. According to IMBD’s synopsis for episode 5, Maddie’s character is perpetually outshined by her sister until Austin (Ross Lynch), Ally (Laura Marano), Trish (Raini Rodriguez) and Dez (Calum Worthy) help her “embrace her talent.”

While it appears everyone will be on board to help Maddie’s character achieve her dreams, a second synopsis teases that it will be Ally who is most devoted to helping Shelby succeed. “Ally wants to prove to Austin that she can unlock the hidden musical talent of a new student,” reads the summary.

So what will Maddie’s special talent be? Despite showing off some of her famous dance moves as part of a dance-off scene in the episode's promo, images from the installment show that her character's forte will also include playing musical instruments -- specifically, the violin. This makes sense, as Austin and Ally run a music school called The Music Factory on the show.

Unlike other “Austin & Ally” episodes that air on Sundays, Maddie’s episode will premiere on a special date and time. Maddie's fans looking to catch the first run of the episode can tune in to the Disney Channel Saturday, March 23, at 8:30 p.m. EDT. Click here to find local listings near you.

Maddie filmed the “Austin & Ally” episode in November. During her time on set, she spoke out about her experience on Twitter. “Thanks for having me @Austin_Ally! So excited to be on set!” the “Dance Moms” star wrote. Her time spent on the show was even mentioned on episode 7 of “Dance Moms” Season 5 by her coach and co-star Abby Lee Miller.

More recently, in an effort to promote her upcoming appearance, Maddie shared a photo from the set with her fans.

Maddie’s episode is part of Disney’s “Tune In 4 What?!” programming event. The promotion, which runs from March 26 to March 29, will feature various stars on several different Disney shows. Other famous faces making cameos on Disney Channel shows this month include Los Angeles Clippers star Chris Paul on “Jessie” and singer and actor Jordan Fisher on "Liv and Maddie."
