The good news for Sir Alex Ferguson is he has added a midfielder back to the lineup. The bad news for Ferguson is he also lost another midfielder.
Ecuadorian midfielder Antonio Valencia is expected back in action soon, having recovered from a broken ankle and suffering ligament damage against Rangers in a Champions League group match on September 14. Valencia is currently training with the club.
Meanwhile, South Korean midfielder Ji-Sung Park will be inactive for a month after a hamstring injury. Park had spent January with South Korea at the AFC Asian Cup.
Manchester United next match is against Wigan Athletic at DW Stadium on February 26.
