Denver Broncos wide receiver Eric Decker and his wife, country music star Jessie James, might be Super Bowl XLVIII’s most recognizable celebrity couple.

James, 25, will be on hand at MetLife Stadium to watch her husband and the rest of the Broncos take on the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday. In an interview with ABC News, Decker's wife discussed how excited she was over Denver's trip to the big game.

“I’m like over the moon that we are here,” she said. “The wives definitely pray together before each game. We did a big prayer before the last playoff game, we all sit there hand in hand, eyes closed and just pray. Now we are here and we know our prayers worked, so we’ll have to do it again this week!”

Despite the cold January weather expected at Sunday’s Super Bowl, James told the New York Post that she plans to brave the elements and sit above the end zone rather than opt for box seats. “[Eric] could have put me in the box but I just wanted to be as close as possible. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and I am not going to miss the chance to see my husband score a touchdown right there,” she said.

The last 12 months have been quite kind to the Decker clan. First, Decker and James celebrated their wedding at a lavish ceremony in Castle Rock, Colo. Next, they became the stars of the hit E! reality series “Eric & Jessie: Game On,” which premiered last summer.

But the couple revealed its best news in September, when James tweeted that she was pregnant with their first child, a daughter. She is expected to give birth within the next month.

James and Decker met in fairytale fashion. In 2011, the budding country music singer performed the national anthem at a game between the Broncos and the New York Jets, For The Win reported.

A few weeks later, James and Decker met through a mutual friend and started talking to each other by phone. By April 2012, they were engaged.
