Megan Piper: Anonymous launches Operation Lulz Prom To Protest School Banning Porn Star From Prom
Just days after porn star Megan Piper accepted a prom invitation from Minnesota teen, Mike Stone, the school principal called his parents to let them know he was seeking adult film stars a dates on Twitter. Piper and other porn stars were banned from attending the high school prom because of school regulations. Now Anonymous is stepping into the fray, and accusing the school of "demonizing sex workers." Just days after porn star Megan Piper accepted a prom invitation from Minnesota teen, Mike Stone, the school principal called his parents to let them know he was on Twitter seeking adult film stars as dates.

Stone told the Daily Dot on March 21, that the principal called his parents, who hadn't the slightest idea that he was tweeting porn stars.

She's really mad about it, Stone said of his mother's reaction. She's saying I embarrassed them now.

While Stone's parents feel embarrassed, his Twitter followers are cheering for him because they see him as a straight up g and a hero.

Stone said he was called to the principal's office at Tartan High School on Tuesday, after his Twitter profile was found.

[The principal] was saying that it's not a good thing to do that, Stone told the Daily Dot. I said, 'I was just doing it to see what actually happened.'

The 18-year-old high school senior was told to avoid similar troubles.

The Huffington Post also reported that the North St. Paul-Maplewood-Oakdale School District has said Stone won't be attending his prom with Piper, 19, or any other porn star. The school district issued a statement to parents, citing regulations as the reason adult film stars are banned from the prom.

The school district has the right to deny anyone admission to a school sponsored event if the visit is not in the best interest of students, employees or the school district, or if it substantially disrupts the orderly operation of school or school activities, said Jennifer McNeil, a representative for the school district.

Stone sent out nearly 600 tweets before landing a date with Piper and another porn star, Emy Reyes.

The ban now means Piper will miss out on a high school prom for the second time. She moved from Georgia to Kansas during her senior year of high school and was therefore, unable to attend her own prom.

I'm not thrilled; I kind of wanted to go, but I understand, Piper said.
